During the eagerly awaited season 26 finale of “The Voice,” Kelly Clarkson made a triumphant comeback, enthralling viewers with her singing skills and gorgeous presence. Many social media users, however, had differing opinions regarding her guest performance, so not everyone felt the same way.
On the Tuesday, December 10 broadcast of NBC’s well-liked singing competition, the adored singer and talk show presenter took the stage to perform a touching rendition of her holiday single, “You for Christmas.”

The 42-year-old Clarkson looked stunning in a gorgeous gown that exuded seasonal elegance with feathery detailing down the sleeves and skirt. Her vintage Hollywood-style curls and a bright red lipstick accent completed her attire, giving her a glamorous and joyous appearance that perfectly captured the essence of the holidays.
Twinkling lights and decorations surrounded the stage, adding to the enchanted ambiance and creating the ideal setting for her heartfelt performance.
Fans’ reactions to Clarkson’s performance were diverse, demonstrating her divisive influence as a popular performer and a powerful vocalist.
Facebook responses revealed both praise and criticism. Comments such as “Next to Whitney Houston she has got one of the best voices ever [sic]” were examples of positive feedback. and more “she is an amazing singer…she gets better and better… [sic]” “Gaaahhhh Kelly,” said another user, complimenting her voice abilities. The voice of a generation, indeed.
However, a number of users voiced their displeasure. The performance was hailed as “What a ‘YELLER‘” by one viewer. That’s what you call singing. Oh my. She screeched so loudly that it hurt my ears.
“Kelly has a great voice, but this wasn’t one of her best,” said another. Not a lot of shouting. Observe her daily; her appearance changes daily as well. She doesn’t benefit from the vivid red lip gloss.

One person expressed a similar opinion, saying, “She is doing a lot of yelling,” while another said, “Not one of her best, and I didn’t think I’d ever say that about Kelly.”
Other criticisms of the production were more general and included statements like “I found it difficult to hear anyone’s voices.” Everybody’s voice was drowned out by the loud music. All one unhappy commenter had to say was, “Not impressed.”
