While speaking to The Mirror, expert Judi James highlighted the sweet sibling interaction.
“Doesn’t papa look smart today.”
She explained:
“Another sibling who was surprisingly keeping an eye on their brother at the other end of the balcony was, surprisingly, Louis. When the anthem was played, he stood to attention like his sister, but he suddenly turned to check out his older brother George behind him.
“George was caught with his hands still clasped in front of his body and, in a complete turnaround, it was the normally playful Louis who seemed to quickly correct him before turning back.”
Royal family attend VE Day thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey
Elsewhere, on Thursday (May 8), senior royals gathered at Westminster Abbey for a special service to give thanks and honor VE Day.
Kate caught everyone’s attention in a polka dot dress as she attended the event alongside William, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
During the service, the royal family laid wreaths and took part in a two-minute silence.
The wreath from the Prince and Princess of Wales included a note that said: “For those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War. We will remember them.”
King Charles’ wreath carried the message: “We will never forget. Charles R.”
