Kate Middleton was reportedly “alarmed” to learn about the depth of her brother James Middleton’s struggles with mental health, according to a magazine source.
James, 38, has spoken publicly in recent years as an advocate for mental health, revealing that he once battled severe depression and even experienced suicidal thoughts. He has also shared his challenges growing up with dyslexia, ADD, and anxiety.
Recently, in an interview with The Times, James mentioned that Kate — who was diagnosed with cancer last year — has been going through a “challenging” period, but has received strong family support. Sources now say that during James’s own difficult moments, he leaned heavily on both Kate and their sister Pippa for support.
