Kate Middleton’s fans were left stunned after discovering who was behind her latest photograph.
Earlier today (February 3), the Princess of Wales took to the official Instagram account she shares with Prince William to post a heartfelt message to her 16.8 million followers.
The post included two images—one showing Kate, 43, standing in a forest with her arms outstretched, and another featuring a quote written over frost-covered fern leaves.
In the caption, she repeated the quote displayed in the second slide: “Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease.” She signed off with her signature ‘C’ and included the hashtag #WorldCancerDay.
Kate’s message comes less than a year after she publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis. Last month, she shared the encouraging news that she is now in remission.
On January 14, she made an appearance at Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, where she expressed gratitude to the medical staff who played a role in her treatment and spent time meeting with fellow cancer patients.

Posting on Instagram at the time, Kate expressed her gratitude and optimism: *”It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery.
“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to.
