Jennifer Garner, deeply impacted by the loss of a friend in the California wildfires, shared how she used her celebrity status to collaborate with a chef and support those who lost everything in the devastating disaster that struck Los Angeles.

Additionally, Garner highlighted the significance of offering support to parents and children during challenging times by ensuring access to shelters. She also commended Chef Andrés for his prompt and impactful relief work. “It is truly remarkable to see someone — to see World Central Kitchen and Chef José step in and say, ‘We’ve got this handled. Don’t worry. We’ve got you,’” she said.

Tragically, the death toll from the LA wildfires has reached 24 as of January 12.

One of the victims was child actor Rory Sykes. His mother, Shelley, shared on social media that her son lost his life after the fires completely destroyed the cottage where he lived.
