“All the hits will be on the show and hopefully we will just have a lot of fun together,” she assured fans, describing the residency as a “reshare” of her classic Come On Over album, which was released 25 years ago.

On August 15, 2023, Twain also shared a humorous short clip on Instagram to announce the news. “The word is out: I’m going back to Vegas! Come On Over, my brand-new residency, will open at @bakkttheaterlv in @phvegas in May 2024! I’m going all out for you. “Acquire your tickets right away!” was the caption.

Twain expressed her excitement in July 2024 about going back on stage for the upcoming portion of her residency, which honors her seminal 1997 album Come On Over. The endeavor, according to her, is a special tribute to the album that is still the best-selling album ever by a female solo artist.

Twain also considered how she rose from modest origins to fame. She started her career as a child performing in country bars in Ontario, Canada. She said, “I was very uncomfortable with it,” referring to the fact that she had performed in adult establishments, several of which featured cages.
