Fans React to Shania Twain, 59, Wearing a ‘Diaper’ During Her Recent Performance – Photos

Part 2 of 2

“It is a very special time for me,” Twain said during the announcement, expressing her joy. Being on stage makes me happy than ever. I am simply enjoying life, sharing my new music, and feeling incredibly content. I hope to simply get up there and spread more positivity and inspiration.”

“All the hits will be on the show and hopefully we will just have a lot of fun together,” she assured fans, describing the residency as a “reshare” of her classic Come On Over album, which was released 25 years ago.

On August 15, 2023, Twain also shared a humorous short clip on Instagram to announce the news. “The word is out: I’m going back to Vegas! Come On Over, my brand-new residency, will open at @bakkttheaterlv in @phvegas in May 2024! I’m going all out for you. “Acquire your tickets right away!” was the caption.

Twain expressed her excitement in July 2024 about going back on stage for the upcoming portion of her residency, which honors her seminal 1997 album Come On Over. The endeavor, according to her, is a special tribute to the album that is still the best-selling album ever by a female solo artist.

Twain also considered how she rose from modest origins to fame. Due to financial limitations, she frequently had to style herself early in her career. “I just went to Target to acquire the clothes for ‘Any Man of Mine’ and ‘Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under’. “And then I just took out of my closet the denim on denim, which has become a pretty fun thing for fans to wear,” she remarked.

She started her career as a child performing in country bars in Ontario, Canada. She said, “I was very uncomfortable with it,” referring to the fact that she had performed in adult establishments, several of which featured cages.

Because the grownups in her life thought she was destined for success, Twain acted in spite of the discomfort. Her career goals, however, were more in line with becoming an engineer or veterinarian.

But her passion remained music. Twain took the audacious choice to concentrate on writing her next album rather than traveling when The Woman in Me became popular in 1995. “Many individuals lost a great deal of money because I didn’t go on tour. I didn’t care, though. I wrote a better album when I committed to the writer inside of me,” she said.

The choice was wise, as Come On Over became a ground-breaking hit with songs like “Man! “You’re Still the One” and “I Feel Like a Woman!”

The singer-songwriter, who was born in Canada, is resilient and adaptable outside of her job. Her strategy for conquering stage fear was influenced by her own struggles, which included throat surgery, the unexpected death of her parents at the age of 22, and a public divorce. “I just decided there were so many other things that were genuinely worth being afraid of — being on stage isn’t one of them,” she said.

Twain claimed that spending time with her five horses on her ranch provided her with comfort in between performances. “I can just go out my door and do this in this small park sanctuary. In her interview from July 2024, she said, “It’s really serene and tranquil.”

Shania Twain’s daring decisions in music and fashion never cease to provoke discussion and solidify her impact.

She demonstrates her persistent ability to command the spotlight and make a lasting impression as she embraces her Las Vegas residency and engages with fans.
