Elon Musk’s first son, Nevada, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old in 2002 due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
During their time together, the couple went on to have five more children.
Musk has previously spoken about the heartbreaking loss, revealing that he held his son in his arms as he took his final breath. Expressing his deep pain, he once stated:
“I have no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics or fame.”
Errol Musk Criticizes His Son’s Parenting
Despite Musk’s silence on the matter in recent years, his father, Errol Musk, has now spoken out about Nevada’s passing, placing blame on his son’s parenting style.
In a podcast interview on the South African show Wide Awake, Errol Musk claimed:
“The first child was too much with nannies and died in the care of a nanny.”
He continued with a comment that he knew would anger his son, saying:
“If Elon hears this, he’s gonna shoot me or something, but anyway, that’s what I think.”
Errol Musk has children with his stepdaughter. Imagine raising a girl child to have children with her. This man is disgusting to the core. Just like his son Elon Musk. pic.twitter.com/KaE9qDAxVp
