Lip reader reveals what cheeky Louis asked dad Wills during VE Day parade along with Kate’s sweet message to Charlotte

A lip reader has uncovered what cheeky Prince Louis asked his dad during the VE Day parade — while Kate was spotted sharing a sweet comment with Princess Charlotte.

Seven-year-old Louis was seated next to his father, Prince William, and couldn’t help but show off some playful dance moves, swaying his shoulders as he looked out at the crowd.

At one point, he was seen gently brushing raindrops from William’s shoulder.

Prince William turned to his son and gave him a light tap on the leg.

According to lip reading expert Nicola Hickling, speaking to The Sun, William told Louis: “Look at this I think it’s going to be quite wet today.”

Louis then asked his dad: “Wasn’t this supposed to be fun?” to which William responded, “It is son.”

The future king also reassured him: “You will never forget this,” before giving a brief explanation of the parade.

“They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back,” he said, adding, “It’s not going to be long and I want you to be taking an interest.”

Meanwhile, Prince George, 11, interjected, saying: “I’ve got something in my eye.”

Princess Kate, too, shared a touching moment with her daughter Charlotte, 10. The mum-of-three was seen telling her: “Doesn’t papa look smart today.”

Fellow lip reader Jacqui Press offered additional insight into a brief exchange between Queen Camilla and a veteran.

The Queen was heard saying: “Ooh it’s much warmer inside it’s cold are you comfortable?”

To which the veteran replied: “Yes I am thank you so much.”

Another gentleman was overheard saying to Princess Kate: “Lovely to see you with all your family.”

As Kate showed some photos to her children, she pointed something out to Charlotte and said: “Look at his uniform!”

She then turned back to the veteran and shared: “Charlotte is very interested in the uniforms.”

“That’s wonderful to know,” the man replied warmly.

During the flypast, The Sun’s lip reader revealed King Charles excitedly exclaimed: “Oh look! Oh look. Look at those flags.”

Prince William and George also shared a sweet moment while watching the planes overhead.

Looking up, William asked: “Do you know what it is?”

George guessed: “No I think it’s the… typhoon but it has four engines.”

“Ahh, okay,” his dad replied, clearly proud.

Pointing out another aircraft, William prompted Louis, who shouted: “That’s my favourite.”

William went on to explain to George that it had “a V8,” and George commented: “The noise is very loud.”

The royal family had gathered with King Charles and Queen Camilla to witness the commemorative parade along The Mall.

Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie were also seen arriving by car for the event.

Crowds lined Whitehall and The Mall to see troops parade past Buckingham Palace, joined by royals, dignitaries, veterans, and officials.

In a moving gesture, King Charles saluted the cavalry as they passed by the stage near the Victoria Memorial.

Standing tall, the King honored the armed forces — reflecting the deep bond the royal family shares with them.

Both King Charles and Queen Camilla had previously expressed they were “looking forward” to the commemorative week.
