Meghan Markle and Prince Harry always seem to grab attention, whether it’s something they do or simply post online.
For Mother’s Day, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated a touching moment — and not long after, it looked like the couple were being joked about on Saturday Night Live.

Meghan posted a sweet moment with her kids on Instagram. She’s mom to Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3.
She added a loving caption to the photo, writing, “Happy Mother’s Day! Cheers to juggling it all with joy!”
In the picture, both kids were cuddling their mom, whom they lovingly call ‘mama moutain.’ Referring to them, she wrote: “To these two gems – who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain,’ smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure.”
Meghan Markle has often spoken warmly about being a mother, calling it the “greatest privilege of [her] life.”
In one of her recent posts, she wrote, “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world,’” as she wrapped up her message.
Just before posting about Mother’s Day on Instagram, Meghan and Prince Harry were the subject of a joke on Saturday Night Live.
During the “Weekend Update” segment, Colin Jost joked about the couple with fellow host Michael Che.
“President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the UK that will reopen British markets for American companies,” Jost said.
“All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two,” he added, while a photo of Meghan and Harry was shown on screen.
Lately, the couple has been more active in public, especially with Meghan sharing updates on Instagram again. She posted about a recent night out with Harry at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The pair were seen showing affection during the event, and Meghan happily shared some of those moments.
In her caption, she wrote, “About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love.”
One photo showed Prince Harry wearing his Kemo Sabe cowboy hat, which got attention for its personal details Meghan highlighted in the post. Under the brim were symbols representing the American flag, British flag, Africa, and California. It also had the words ‘Archie’, ‘Lili’, and ‘My Love’ written on it.
Meghan has never held back when it comes to praising Harry. She recently appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast and said:
“There’s something that is not to be taken for granted when you have a partner and a spouse who is just so behind you.”
“I mean, H, that man loves me so much. And you know, look what we built. We’ve built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children.”
Since stepping away from royal duties in 2020, the couple has settled in the U.S. to raise their children. Meanwhile, Prince Harry lost his appeal to receive automatic police protection when visiting the UK.
After losing the case, he shared that he doesn’t feel it’s safe to bring his wife and kids back to the UK.
“I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point,” he said earlier this year.
When asked if he missed the UK, Harry said he did and found the situation “really quite sad,” especially that his kids couldn’t experience their “homeland.”
“The things that they’re going to miss is, well, everything,” Harry told the BBC. “I love my country. I always have done. Despite what some people in that country have done.”
