Meghan Markle’s furious reaction after being asked about Prince Harry revealed after huge misunderstanding

Part 1 of 2

Meghan Markle was reportedly unhappy after being asked about Prince Harry during a 2017 interview.

Just before Meghan and Prince Harry announced their engagement, she graced the cover of Vanity Fair. However, a misunderstanding led to her reportedly expressing dissatisfaction with the interview, which has now been revealed.

In his new memoir, When the Going was Good, former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter shared the details of what transpired, explaining that Meghan had misunderstood the focus of the interview.

“Jane Sarkin, who booked our covers, came in and said, ‘We should do a cover on Meghan Markle,’” Carter told Page Six.

“I said, ‘I have no idea who that is.’ She replied, ‘She’s on Suits.’ I said, ‘I don’t know what that is, why should we do a story on her?’ She then said, ‘Because she’s going to marry Prince Harry.’”

Carter went on to explain that Meghan had expected the interview to highlight her charity work, but it ended up focusing on her relationship with Prince Harry instead.

“Excuse me, is this going to all be about Prince Harry? Because I thought we were going to be talking about my charities and my philanthropy,” Meghan reportedly said.

“This woman is slightly adrift on the facts and reality,” Carter added.
