Kate Middleton and Prince William share PDA moment after she appears at Commonwealth Day service for the first time after cancer treatment

Part 1 of 2

Kate Middleton and Prince William made an appearance at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey yesterday, sharing a rare and heartwarming moment of affection.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the event alongside other senior royals, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

The occasion took place just a couple of months after Kate’s January 14 announcement that she is in remission from cancer. During the service, the couple was spotted exchanging a genuine and affectionate moment, offering a glimpse into their close bond.

Kate stole the spotlight at this year’s Commonwealth Day Service, marking her return after skipping last year’s event. The 43-year-old princess had previously announced she would be stepping away from public duties temporarily following her cancer diagnosis.

Inside Westminster Abbey, as they settled into their seats, Kate and William—who will be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary next month—were caught sharing a lighthearted moment, laughing together before the ceremony began.

A lip reader has also analyzed a specific clip showing Kate as William leaned in to whisper something to her while they made their way into the historic venue.

Dressed in a striking hot pink ensemble by Catherine Walker, complemented by a matching hat from Gina Foster, the mother of three looked radiant as she arrived. She and William were greeted at the entrance by Dr. David Hoyle, the Dean of Westminster.
