Meghan Markle has shared a heartfelt tribute after the loss of her beloved pet dog, Guy, offering fans a rare and intimate glimpse into her family life with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Through a touching video montage shared on her newly launched Instagram account, @meghan, the Duchess of Sussex included a collection of never-before-seen photos and clips of Guy throughout the years.
What truly moved royal fans, however, was an unexpected detail—Archie’s sweet singing voice and strong American accent, accompanied by his younger sister Lilibet, could be heard in the background of one particularly emotional moment.

“We love you Guy, yes we do. We love you Guy, and we’ll be true. When you’re not near us, we’re blue,” they could be heard singing at the end of the video.
The Sussex children’s voices were last heard publicly in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries, which made headlines upon its release in December 2022.
This time, their voices were heard as Archie walked Guy, capturing a heartfelt moment between the young prince and the loyal dog who had been by Meghan’s side through many important milestones.

Alongside the emotional montage, Meghan shared a heartfelt message, expressing how much Guy meant to her. “In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love,” she wrote.
“They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.”

The video showcased a collection of moments from various phases of Meghan’s life, including her time on Suits, her engagement and wedding to Prince Harry, and her journey into motherhood. Throughout it all, Guy remained by her side—a faithful companion who brought her comfort and happiness during some of her most pivotal years.
