Jennifer Garner has become an unlikely pillar of support for Jennifer Lopez as the singer endures a seriously rough patch with husband Ben Affleck.

Reports suggest trouble in paradise for celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Following a 47-day break from the public eye and Affleck’s move out of their family home, whispers of a potential divorce have reached a fever pitch.

Amidst the speculation, actress Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s ex-wife from 2005 to 2018, has reportedly emerged as a source of support for Lopez. According to sources, Lopez feels Garner understands her situation as someone who “has been through it with the same man.” While acknowledging their experiences differ, they allegedly share a common ground in dealing with past issues.

Despite moving on romantically, Garner reportedly sees Lopez as a source of stability for Affleck and is said to be willing to help mend their marriage.

“Jen does not want Ben to pull the plug on this marriage because she really does care about JLo,” the aforementioned insider told the Daily Mail. They added that Garner “did go to his house to talk to him about this and to try and keep the two of them together.”

“JLo was told several times by Jen how valued she is in all their lives,” the source added. “She is one of the only women who can get through to Ben and keep him from jumping off the deep end with his addiction.”
