Princess Beatrice’s kids have a title – Princess Eugenie’s don’t

Following the dramatic removal of their father’s royal titles, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have once again found themselves at the center of public speculation — this time over whether their own children hold any titles at all.

Earlier this week, King Charles III formally stripped his younger brother, the disgraced royal formerly known as Prince Andrew, of his “Style, Titles and Honours.”

“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” Buckingham Palace announced in a statement on October 30. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.”

The move comes after renewed scrutiny over Andrew’s long-standing association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the publication of a new memoir by Virginia Giuffre, who had accused Andrew of sexual assault when she was a minor. Giuffre, who first went public with her allegations in 2019, tragically died by suicide earlier this year.

Although Andrew has consistently denied all accusations, he stepped back from royal duties in 2019. Now, with his royal privileges removed and his residence at the Royal Lodge handed back to the Crown, attention has turned to what this means for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie — and their families.

Beatrice and Eugenie Keep Their Titles

Despite their father’s fall from grace, both Beatrice and Eugenie are expected to retain their royal titles. However, questions have arisen about whether their children hold titles of their own.

Princess Beatrice shares two children with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi — daughter Sienna, four, and baby Athena, nine months. She is also stepmother to Mozzi’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf.

Princess Eugenie, meanwhile, is mother to two boys — August, four, and Ernest, two — with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
